Investment DAOs are a new form of decentralized autonomous organizations that pool funds from multiple investors to make investments in various projects. The decisions on which projects to invest in are made by the community of investors, giving them more power and control over their investments.

Investment DAOs offer several benefits over traditional investment models. For one, they are more democratic and transparent. Investors can see exactly where their funds are being allocated and have a say in the decision-making process. Additionally, Investment DAOs have lower fees and fewer intermediaries, making them a more cost-effective option for investors.

But how do Investment DAOs work in practice? Arda Erturk’s ACE DAO is a prime example. ACE DAO started as a social DAO, hosting events and bringing the Toronto startup community together. As they grew, they pivoted to an investment DAO, pooling funds from members to make investments in various projects.

The legal and governance framework for Investment DAOs is still in its early stages, making it a challenging space to navigate. However, ACE DAO and other Investment DAOs are paving the way for a more democratized, transparent, and cost-effective investment landscape.

Investment DAOs are just one example of the many innovative applications of blockchain technology. As the DeFi and Web 3.0 spaces continue to grow, we can expect to see more disruption and innovation in the traditional finance and investment industries.

It combines all the data from various sources into one search bar, making it convenient for users to search for anything related to their community or collection. Bonfire is positioned at the intersection of AI and web3, and the team is exploring various use cases for AI in the governance space, such as delegating an AI wallet that will vote on behalf of the user based on their personal preferences and their risk tolerance.
